Samuel Wan has over 20 years of executive search experience. He was the Vice Chairman of The Amrop Hever Group between 2000 and 2002 as well as Leader of the Global Financial Services Practice and is serving again in the Vice-Chairman capacity from June 2006 onwards. Prior to joining Amrop Hever, he was Managing Director of Norman Broadbent's Hong Kong and China offices. Heading the first generation of recruiters to establish operations in China, he led the company to become one of the top firms in Asia. In his search career, he has successfully recruited over 400 CEOs, executive directors and senior division managers for clients in the Financial Services, Telecommunications, Retailing, Merchandising, Manufacturing, Property and Not-for-Profit sectors. Earlier, he worked for Bank of America and Banque Nationale de Paris on both the human resources and business side.
He holds a MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Hong Kong.
